In business and sport, performance is everything. In today’s challenging environment, leaders are under pressure to do more with less, lead through uncertainty, and build teams that can perform at the highest level - consistently.
This session features Bernice Mene, a leader who truly understands what it takes to perform under pressure. As a former Silver Ferns captain, Bernice led the national team from the age of 22, playing 76 international tests and earning a place in the top 25 players of New Zealand netball since 1998. Today, she’s the Chief People Officer at Hyundai New Zealand, and a respected education leader and leadership coach.

Scaling successwith Connor Archbold
Connor Archbold co-founded Tracksuit upon returning to New Zealand in 2021, after five years of scaling Kiwi growth companies globally. He has led enterprise SaaS and direct-to-consumer ventures, including roles as COO of Mish Guru and Head of B2B & Business Development at Noissue. Connor began his career as a corporate lawyer at Bell Gully before launching Auckland’s first accelerator program, Lightning Lab, with the Icehouse. Balancing operational expertise, creative thinking, and empathetic leadership, he thrives on turning good ideas into great businesses.

Future of work with Brian Elliott
Brian has spent three decades leading teams and building companies as a startup CEO, as a product leader at Google, and as Senior VP at Slack . Brian started his career at Boston Consulting Group, and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. His work has been published in Harvard Business Review, Fortune, and the Economist, and he is co-author of How The Future Works: Leading Flexible Teams to Do the Best Work of Their Lives. Brian is a proud father of two young men.
