Career Snapshot

Anna’s career in People & Culture began in public health, where she quickly gained exposure to complex environments — unions, collective agreements, and large-scale leadership. From there, she moved through major organisations including Carter Holt Harvey, SkyCity, and Pernod Ricard, where she grew into an HR Director role and led significant transformation and leadership development initiatives. She joined Humankind in 2016, initially as an associate, before stepping into her dream role as Director of People & Culture, shaping both the organisation and its clients.

Combining her organisational leadership experience with deep HR expertise, she coaches leaders and teams to connect strategy and performance through people. Anna designed and delivered Humankind’s leadership programme for MetService and our EX for Org Performance model, both which have gone on to form the backbone of Humankind’s delivery approaches and proved measurable ROI for clients. She’s guided executives at organisations like Education Perfect and DocuVera, helping leadership teams grow, align, and perform. She’s equally proud of developing our internal talent and the one-to-one coaching moments , where a person shifts, grows, and unlocks their best self through honest, human feedback.
