Megan’s career has always centred on people. Starting in the high-energy world of events and hospitality, she’s held people leadership roles across New Zealand and the UK, from building culture at Parliament to scaling Mojo Coffee from five shops to a 35. She brings two decades of experience growing people functions from the ground up in fast-moving, values-led organisations.

Megan is deeply people-first, with a strong commercial lens. She’s known for her ability to balance empathy with challenge, creating space for people to show up fully while holding them accountable to grow. As a coach, leader, and advisor, she helps clients uncover blind spots, bring clarity to complexity, and build cultures where people thrive.

Megan is most proud when she sees people empowered, whether that’s a CE who leads with more purpose, or a team stepping into their strengths. Her work with Te Omanga Hospice is a standout: co-designing an employee experience that strengthened culture, improved retention, and inspired other hospices across Aotearoa. Inside Humankind, she’s also a champion for the team, known for helping people grow in ways that stick.

For Megan, it all comes back to belonging. Raised in a small town, she believes people do their best work when they feel seen, valued, and connected to something bigger. In a world that can feel fast, transactional or anonymous, she’s passionate about creating environments where people genuinely care, about themselves, their work, and each other.
