Wendy's career has taken her from global media and technology organisations to startups, scale-ups, governance, and higher education. She has held senior leadership roles with organisations including Apple, the Financial Times, Pearson, and New Zealand technology businesses, while also serving on boards and investing in emerging companies. Her work has consistently centred on building new ventures, developing innovative ideas and initiatives and helping organisations realise ambitious goals. Along the way, she has served as Asia-Pacific Marketing Manager for Apple, General Manager at FT.com, Chief Operating Officer of Valocity, Chief Customer Officer at medtech start-up Cannulight , and led organisations working across technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercial growth. Today, Wendy combines this breadth of executive experience with evidence-based coaching, supporting leaders as they take on greater responsibility, broaden their influence, and navigate increasingly high-stakes decisions in an environment that is more complex and ambiguous than before.

Wendy is known for helping leaders see what they cannot see themselves. Trained in brain-based coaching through the NeuroLeadership Institute and as an NLP practitioner with Robert Dilts, she combines neuroscience, deep commercial experience, and practical coaching to uncover the patterns, beliefs, and behaviours shaping how people lead. She creates a trusted environment where leaders feel challenged, supported, and able to think differently about the decisions in front of them.

Wendy is proud of leading an Australian fintech through a successful $70 million IPO, guiding the organisation through a complex and unfamiliar process. She also transformed the University of Auckland's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, securing $10 million in funding and growing participation from around 800 to more than 4,000 students and staff. For Wendy, these milestones reflect what can be achieved when ambitious ideas are matched with the right leadership, support, and belief in people's potential.
